The omnipresent oak
The forest limousine is a young forest which constituted for a century. At the head of broad-leaved trees, the Oak cuts itself an important place, in spite of the emergence of conifers as the Douglas.
For a century, the forest considerably extended, both at the level of the broad-leaved trees and the conifers. These last ones especially progressed in the second part of the 20th century, more particularly in the implementation of the National Forest Collection.
All the essences progressed in surface, except the sweet chestnut tree.
